I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother of three and best characterized as being saved by grace…lots of grace.

Here is where you will find some of  my random thoughts, and you will most likely have the opportunity to learn from my mistakes. There’s no sense in both of us making the same one, and odds are I’m gonna make them first. But I am thankful for my Jesus, who despite my bafflement, continues to cover each and every one of them.

I decided that if I ever started a blog it would be called ‘the random life’ after a discussion with my daughter, who was 6 at the time. She confidently proclaimed, “mom, you are so random”. There wasn’t a question in her mind that she didn’t fully believe exactly what she what she was saying. I didn’t argue with her either.  She was right then, and the statement still rings true today. It’s a curse really, wanting to know a little bit (or a lot) about everything. However it is something I have come to embrace and even appreciate at times. The good Lord knew what he was doing when he formed me, so I will just keep doing what I know best and hope that I don’t leave too much of a wake in my path.
